Tasting Notes
The wine’s complexity is evident from the first whiff, as fully ripened bright red fruit aromas layered with nuanced brown spices fill the nose. A velvety entry and rich mouthfeel reveal traces of spicy cedar, red licorice, black tea and vanilla woven into vivid raspberry, Bing cherry, dried strawberry and pomegranate. Notes of caramel join the bright fruit flavors as the wine opens and the structure steps forward. This Pinot’s depth, intensity and beauty will continue to evolve with further bottle aging.
