“Pretty redcurrants, dried flowers, forest floor, spice, and new leather notes all emerge from this medium-bodied beauty, which has a terrific sense of elegance and purity, integrated acidity, and a great finish. It certainly shows a more cool-climate, complex, almost Sonoma Coast-like profile compared to your average Russian River release. It's beautifully done and I suspect will keep for a decade.”

Tasting Notes

Intriguing aromatics of ripe strawberry and black cherry merge with brown spices, tea, tobacco, and a hint of earth. On the palate, a core of pretty red fruit—cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate—mingles with traces of cigar box, violet, nutmeg, and white tea. Supple tannins and dried rose petals appear in the lingering finish, enhancing the complexity and depth of this elegant Pinot.
